Michael J. Losik, P.E., L.S. is the president of our firm and has over 40 years experience as a Professional Civil Engineer (B.S. in Civil Engineering, Marquette University-1964) and 35 years experience as a Registered Land Surveyor. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer and the Principle Design Engineer. As such, he is responsible for: site selection and analysis; site planning and development of overall design parameters; organizing and leading a technical staff in preparing final plans and specifications.

How do others describe him?

Mike's handwriting has been the subject of much commentary through the years. About 20 years ago, one client was so intrigued by Mike's expressive style, that he had a professional handwriting analyst do a review of a sample of his writing. The following is the handwriting analysis that was sent to Mike:

“He has a tendency to pull ideas right out of the air and this is part of his success, his ability to grasp things quickly and without apparent effort. He is very creative and his vivid imagination is a strong bonus and adds to his reactivity.

::  When you accept the assignment to represent a client and provide professional services, think of the project as your own, and then do everything you must to make it financially successful.
::  Treat all clients with respect, as well as all the people we interact with in processing our plans for approval.
::  Think outside the box when the normal and usual methods are not responsive to the designs needs.
::  Don't allow a project to become untracked. Persistence is often the reason for success.
::  Don't be known as a person who gives up at the first turn – success breeds success.
::  Remember: Anyone can do the easy work – it takes stick-to-itive-ness, perseverance, ingenuity, and the love of winning to complete many projects.
