We planned this 50 Acre parcel as a single and multi-family project in the late 1970's, but construction was delayed by the recession of the early 1980's. As the Village developed along Mequon Road in the late 1980's, the Land Use Plan was changed to commercial use with a multi-family condominium component at the Northeast corner of the project .
The commercial component was developed over the last 18 years. The drainage way along the East and North sides of the project was to be crossed by two public streets requiring the design and construction of pre-cast bridge structures accommodating the 100 year flood flow. The architecture of the buildings is Bavarian inspired befitting the early heritage of the Village.
The condominium portion of the project was designed as one larger structure and a series of two family buildings in a park-like setting.
Our designs consisted of: sanitary and storm sewers; watermains; site grading; stormwater detention; FEMA approval for bridge structures and channel realignment and flood filling; concrete curbs; asphalt pavement; improvements to abutting state trunk highway; land use; rezoning and site improvement approvals.
