This 71 Acre property was a former cranberry processing operation. Its' location in the expanding Village of Jackson made it a prime candidate for re-development as a planned development district of condominium homes in a variety of building types and sizes.
The existing site improvements, buildings, underground and overhead utilities were located and the site was cleared of these improvements. The environmentally sensitive (wetlands and natural resource) areas were identified and protected in the designs.
On site designs included: developing separate environments for the five different building types selected; buffer all the units away from the active railroad line along the West side of the project; integrate stormwater detention basins into the overall designs; sanitary and storm sewers; watermains; concrete curbs; private drives and parking areas; overall site ground balance; and underground service utilities.
When completed, the project, constructed in phases, will contain 360 condominium units.
